Nourished glow is all about finding your most gorgeous beauty and wellness by using food as your medicine.
Over the course of this 6 week program, you will Eliminate certain foods that are known to cause inflammatory reactions in the body which can be a trigger for having sad skin, poor digestion, low energy and overall feeling unwell. This E-book contains a plethora of education on the how, what and whys of foods and how your cells respond to those foods.
You will also have a more clear awareness of how foods affect you simply by listening to how your body responds to what you are eating. The last week of the program you will start to challenge the foods that you have eliminated so that you can have a true and accurate read on how your body feels and looks in reaction to eating food.
This book is packed with information on how to incorporate foods that will optimize your health and your beauty. The program is intended to be an elimination of foods for 4 weeks to give your body the very best chance to reset.
If a 6 week program feels like it is too much to take on you can use this book for a shorter elimination, for the abundance of education or simply to have access to the 80++ delicious and nutritious recipes included in the book.

What foods will I avoid on this program?
You will be avoiding the foods that are known to be the most inflammatory in the diet. Sugar, alcohol, grains, soy, dairy, nightshade vegetables and peanuts are off the menu for the 4 weeks of elimination.
What foods CAN I eat on this program?
LOTS! We include all kinds of meat and seafood, including chicken, turkey, lean beef, eggs, scallops, crab/shrimp, lobster, fish, tuna canned in water, anchovies. Vegetables are in abundance, except for nightshade veggies like tomatoes, potatoes and peppers. Fruit can be included and is on the menu most days. Also healthy oils, nuts, herbs and spices to make your meals delicious.
I have a lot of health issues, will this detox help me?
It is always best to ask your doctor or healthcare practitioner before starting any new health program if you have specific concerns. This cleanse is designed to help you find the foods that work best in your body. By eliminating certain food groups then systematically adding them back to your diet you should be able to discover which foods will lead you to your optimal health.
Will I lose weight on the program?
Eating foods that cause inflammation and water retention can add unwanted weight to our bodies. This 6 week program eliminates the major foods that can cause an inflammatory reponse and allows your elimination systems to work more efficiently. Avoiding those foods can often lead to weight loss.
What if I cheat on this program?
Perfection is not the goal. This program is about figuring out what foods work best in your body. If you have a day or several days that you can't, or don't want, to follow the menu plan then you do your best and jump back in when you are ready. This is a marathon, not a sprint, and we are setting you up to learn what foods work to allow you to feel and look your best.
Will I feel badly during the program?
Many people will experience a day or two of aches or pains while starting a cleanse. As your body is getting rid of inflammation and excess toxins you may feel sluggish or achey but those symptoms should resolve within a few days.

All the meals in this program were meant to be healthy but also taste good. We don't want you to feel deprived with the meals which is why each recipe was curated by Dr. Kristi Harter ND, RD to be simple to make and delicious to eat.
